Great Raleigh Suburbs

Tingen ConstructionRaleigh Suburbs

As one of the fastest growing areas in the country, once tiny Raleigh has grown beyond what anyone could have expected. Newcomers and long-time residents alike value the area’s thriving energy and many job opportunities, but what if they want a place away from the hustle and bustle?

Thankfully, as Raleigh has grown, its suburbs have become even more and more attractive. Here are some great places in the Triangle that blend the best of rural living with urban accessibility.

Zebulon

As the easternmost town in Wake County, Zebulon is perfect for homeowners who need a little more peace and quiet. However, it is by no means out of the way, at a mere 30 minutes from downtown and 40 minutes from the airport, you get the best of both worlds.

We offer Zebulon custom homes in the Wakefield Meadows neighborhood. The smaller community size means lots average one acre each, allowing you plenty of room for your custom home vision!

Knightdale

Conveniently located right off the I-540 loop, quiet Knightdale is about as close to Raleigh as you can get. Its downtown is currently in the midst of a small renaissance, with new bars and restaurants popping up. The centerpiece is arguably Knightdale Station Park, complete with a dog park, running trails, and athletic fields. A YMCA Aquatic Center and Greenway connection are also coming soon.

Looking to live in Knightdale? We offer custom homes in the Glenmere neighborhood, complete with an Olympic-sized pool and an open play area.

Wake Forest

If Wake Forest’s name confuses you – maybe because of a certain famous university not being there – we can explain. The campus started here, but moved to Winston-Salem in 1956. But at only 30 minutes to downtown, the town of Wake Forest is still quite close to NC State, Meredith College, and Peace College…so in our mind, it’s their loss! Speaking of education, Wake Forest is a great place for families, as it has some of the best schools in North Carolina.

We offer Wake Forest custom homes in the Averette Ridge community.

Youngsville

Don’t let Youngsville’s small size deceive you: this quaint community in Southerwestern Franklin County is home to great independent restaurants and shops, beautiful parks, and – perhaps best of all – low property taxes. The downtown area still has the look of a 50s-era tobacco town, while maintaining proximity to all the best Raleigh and Durham have to offer.

Our Cedar Ridge community is coming here soon, featuring beautiful custom homes in a country setting!
